I've been building small block Fords for a number of years, and weight is always a factor in what I build. Generally speaking, a 351W with aluminum heads weighs about the same as an iron-headed 302. The contributors to weight in a 351W are the heavier block (about 20lbs heavier) and the crankshaft (also around 20lbs heavier) Anybody run an aluminun 302 based in their Gt40.
